IBA Bring Balloons Campaign

IBA Bring Balloons Campaign

The International Balloon Association is shaking things up with their attention getting "Bring Balloons" campaign.

Watch out gift industry!   The International Balloon Association, comprised of manufacturers, distributors, decorators, retailers and entertainers is launching its most ambitious PR campaign to date.

This determined group of business people want consumers to "Bring Balloons" to any occasion or celebration where they want to make people happy.   Balloons are appropriate for so many occasions both large and small.

The IBA is here to remind people in these tough economic times balloons are a GREAT choice.   Balloons are a HIGH Value social expression and people are STILL celebrating life through birthdays, anniversaries, new babies and falling in love.   Balloons are the perfect way to celebrate these occasions.

Balloons are manufactured in a variety of materials including foil, latex and plastic.   Consumers love the fact that balloons serve as a gift and written sentiment all in one.   No card or wrapping paper necessary.   If the "wow" factor is your goal, the solution is "Bring Balloons!"

At the local level, expect to see more balloon decor at special events and charitable causes.   Giving back to the community is an integral part of this campaign.

Exposure and attention are only part of the game plan.   The ultimate goal is for "Bring Balloons" to generate the same consumer awareness as the "Got Milk" campaign, inciting industry recognition and spurring growth.

Guerilla marketing tactics include inundating local media with invitations, press releases and balloon deliveries in an effort to shine the media spotlight on balloons.   Internet savvy members of the industry will spearhead "Bring Balloons" exposure via digital marketig channels to creat a stronger social media presence.

This campaign has not only sparked attention locally but may soon be of national interest as cable television networks take a closer look at creating a reality series about this niche industry and the Special Event industry in general.
